This Bluetooth audio transmitter offers a long-range, high-definition audio experience with aptX Low Latency support. It is designed exclusively for audio transmission, and is not compatible with keyboards, mice, game controllers, or data transfer.
It is important to note that no Bluetooth icon will appear on the taskbar when the DG60 is plugged into your PC. Instead, it will be recognized as a USB sound card or USB speaker. The pairing and connection process happens through the DG60, not your computer.
Certain Sennheiser headphone models may experience a popping noise when using the aptX low latency codec. This is a known chipset issue that can be resolved by a software upgrade of the headphones or transmitter.
The DG60 is recommended for Bluetooth-enabling any PC, laptop (Windows, macOS, Linux), or game console (PS4, Nintendo Switch). No drivers are required. It can be used with Bluetooth headphones, speakers, and receivers to stream music or chat online. For best results, use it with aptX-Low Latency (<40ms delay) devices to eliminate lip-sync delay.
The DG60 has a range of up to 50m / 164ft in open air without obstacles or interference. However, it is not recommended for use with TVs, wired speakers, or car stereo systems, as it cannot Bluetooth-enable these devices. It is also not compatible with keyboard, mouse, mobile phone, game controllers, printers, projectors, and other Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) devices.
The DG60 supports voice or music single-channel only for non-FastStream (FS) Bluetooth headphones. Using it with non-aptX-Low Latency devices will produce an audio delay of 70-200ms, which is not ideal for watching TV or movies.
The DG60 features the top-end CSR8675 Bluetooth 5.0 chipset, delivering high-fidelity stereo sound. It supports the aptX Low Latency codec, allowing you to watch movies and videos without audio-visual delay. For best results, use it with aptX Low Latency-supporting headphones or speakers, such as the Avantree Audition Pro or Torpedo Plus.
The DG60 offers a music quality priority and no lip-sync delay priority switch. If you want high-definition audio, switch to "For Music." If you want to stream audio with minimal delay, switch to "For Gaming." If you want to play games using a headset that supports FastStream, switch to "For Gaming" to get simultaneous clear chat and stereo quality sound. For other codecs (e.g., aptX-LL, aptX, SBC), the switch has no effect.
The package includes the Bluetooth Audio Transmitter DG601, a PC USB extending cable, and a quick user guide. The DG60 supports Bluetooth version 5.0 and profiles such as A2DP, HFP, HSP, and AVRCP. It can operate at a range of up to 50 meters in an open area without any obstruction.
